Le Mesnil-Tove
The bar and epicerie at Mesnil-Tove is closed at the moment. An english couple bought it in January 2006 and have spent the past months renovating it. Unfortunately, due to family ill-health, they have to return to the UK, and the bar is again for sale.
We'll keep you posted on developments...
This is more a picture of our friends waiting outside what was the Bar Roussel, for the coach to arrive at 7.30am, than it is of the bar, but you can see the grocery store - and the post box - just!
We also have a public phone box, next to the Marie (Town Hall)
Services are held at the church every week on a week day and 2-3 times a year on Sundays.
Juvigny-le-Tertre
Juvigny-le-Tertre (2km -uphill most of the way!) has a Church with Sunday Service (usually 11am), Doctor & Nurses' Surgeries, 2 Petrol Stations & Garages, Supermarket, Post Office, 2 Butchers, 2 Banks (nearest ATM’s are at Mortain & Sourdeval) Bakery, Bar/Tabac, Hair Salon & Restaurants (open for lunch only).
